Student-Athlete Services

At Lynn University, athletic and academic excellence are inseparable goals for student-athletes. The university is committed to the academic success and graduation of students participating in its athletic programs.

Message from the Director

When I think of helping a student-athlete become a well-rounded individual as they pursue their dreams at Lynn University, I quickly think of the moment that they will walk across the stage at the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center to receive their diplomas upon graduation.

There are many steps before completing a college degree and my office is dedicated to developing both the student and the athlete of each young person who joins the Fighting Knight family. While I certainly wish to compete and win all of our contests on the courts and fields, I am also more determined to do whatever is possible to give student-athletes every opportunity to walk across the stage and continue their success in the “real world.”

In the pages that follow you will read about the Athletics Department’s office of student-athlete services. This unit will continuously provide academic counseling, personal development, career development, community awareness and leadership services for all the student-athletes who walk through our doors each week.

While winning national championships and conference titles is an instant bonus and gratification of being a member of the Lynn University Department of Athletics administrative staff, the memory of our student-athletes enjoying that exciting day in the middle of May at Commencement is even more powerful.

Sincerely,

Sara J. Quatrocky
