Lynn University Fighting Knights

Jon Lobbe begins his fourth year as Assistant Athletics Director for Lynn University.

A former men’s basketball player for the Blue and White, Lobbe will oversee the Knights athletic training, athletic facilities and transportation. He will also assist in planning, preparation, upkeep and maintenance of the athletics operating budget while also collaborating with the NCAA and Sunshine State Conference.

Prior to his appointment at Lynn, Lobbe spent the past five years as a mortgage consultant in Boca Raton and Sunrise. He was Wachovia’s ‘Circle of Excellence’ recipient in 2006 and named one of the top-100 mortgage consultants in 2006 and 2007.

Lobbe has coached boy’s basketball at the prep level locally at both Pope John Paul II High School and Grandview Preparatory School. He taught Physical Education and coached at Pope for two years before taking over the Grandview program while also serving as Director of Admissions.

Prior to returning to Boca Raton, Lobbe spent six years as Associate Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Tallahassee Community College from 1994-2000. A 1997 graduate of Florida State University, Lobbe earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management/Physical Education and completed his Masters of Business Administration in 2011.
