Lynn University Fighting Knights

Ryan McCrea enters his first season as an assistant athletic trainer at Lynn University.  He works primarily with men's soccer, baseball and men's and women's golf.

McCrea comes to LU after spending the past three years at Greensboro College.  With the Pride, he worked primarily with the men’s soccer, women’s basketball and baseball teams with secondary responsibilities with football, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, cross country, women’s swimming, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis and cheerleading.

In addition to his time at Greensboro, McCrea has staffed numerous camps and clinics at Duke, High Point, North Carolina and Wake Forest as well as worked with the International Women’s Football League and the Olympic Development Program.  McCrea also served as co-medical director of the 2008 NCAA Division III Soccer National Championships.

A 2007 graduate of High Point University with a B.S. in Athletic Training, McCrea also earned his M.S. in Sports Studies from High Point in 2009. A member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, he is certified in CPR, First Aid and AED through the America Red Cross.
