Sickle Cell Trait Education
Although all 50 states screen for the sickle cell trait at birth, most people are unaware of their status. The NCAA and Lynn University Athletic Department requires every student-athlete, including those who wish to try-out, confirm their sickle cell trait status prior to participating in intercollegiate athletics.
