Come One Come All to Student-Athlete Recognition Award Show
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s athletic department rolls out the red carpet on Thursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. for the First Annual Student-Athlete Recognition Award Show at the Wold Performing Arts Center.
The Fighting Knights will be celebrating the accomplishments of the 2011-12 season Hollywood style by honoring each team’s Most Valuable and Most Improved Players and inducting their 12th Hall of Fame Class while also recognizing some of the top plays and performances of the year.
This event is free and open to the public but will also be broadcast live at LynnFightingKnights.com. A reception with hors d’oeuvres opens the festivities at 6:30 in the lobby while the ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30. In addition to MVP and MIP announcements, Lynn will honor the following awards:
• Top Play of the Year
• Top Game Performance of the Year
• Top Championship Performance of the Year
• Mr. & Mrs. Fighting Knight
• Men’s & Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year
• Men’s & Women’s Blue & White Athlete of the Year
