Female Athlete of the Week: Gabriella Wuyke

Lynn University's cross county team competed as a team for the first time this past weekend at the Embry-Riddle Asics Classic. Having two races already under her belt, Gabriella Wuyke ended the race making Fighting Knight history.

The junior from East Lyme, Conn., finished ninth out of 107 runners with a personal-best time of 20:15.60. The finish marks the first top-10 finish for a Lynn runner.

The cross country team is "going to Disney World" on October 6th for the Disney Invite.
