Lynn Athlete of the Week: Eleonora Iannozzi
Eleonora Iannozzi is the Lynn Athlete of the Week. A native of Rome, Italy, Iannozzi won the Individual Championship at the ITA South Regional Tournament last weekend.
Iannozzi did not drop a set all Tournament and defeated her senior teammate Jessica Yanoff in the championship game, 6-1, 6-2.
The senior will represent the Fighting Knights at the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships, held at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala., October 14-17.
