Male Athlete of the Week: Julian Harder

After missing some time last season with an injury, Julian Halder began the 2012 campaign strong by recording seven points as the Lynn University men's soccer went 2-0 over the long weekend.

In the first game of the season at Lees-McRae, the graduate forward from Bregenz, Austria, set up fellow teammate Jack Winter for the game-winning goal in overtime.

Halder followed up that performance with with a hat trick at King College in a 5-1 rout.

His performance got the attention of conference opponents as he was named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week.

The second-ranked soccer team host Ava Maria and Anderson in the Wyndham Boca Raton Soccer Classic on September 7-8, with both matches starting at 3:30 pm.
