Male Athlete of the Week: Vlad Cirla

The Lynn University men's tennis team went 2-0 this past week defeating Palm Beach Atlantic and No. 18 Saint Leo. Vlad Cirla Led the way for the Fighting Knights.

The 12th-ranked singles player went undefeated on the week dominating the 43rd ranked Aloua Adjenak of Saint Leo 6-0, 6-2. He then defeated the 12th ranked group of Matt Nicholson-Lewis/Victor Lozier with partner Amaury Van Haelen. the Cirla-Van Haelen combo ranks 4th nationally.

The Blue & White host conference foes Florida Southern and Eckerd on Friday and Saturday and then take on defending national champions Valdosta State on Sunday at 10 a.m.
