Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. - Lynn University’s women’s golf team posted the fourth-lowest score on the afternoon, 307, to jump two spots and finish fifth out of 15 teams at the Guy Harvey Invitational.  Irene Calvo tied for 10th individually as all five Fighting Knights posted scores under 80.

Calvo led the LU contingent with a one-over par 73 to finish the 36-hole tournament with a 150 total.  She was eight-strokes back of medalist Annie Dulman of Rollins.  Jessica Bradley earned a tie for 19th after posting a two-day score of 154 while Ellen Chambers, Samantha Smole and Louise Manalo all tied for the 30th with a 159, respectively.

Lynn (620) was able to leap Florida Tech (624) and Seminole State College (632) for its second top-five finish of the year but could not catch winner and host Nova Southeastern (589).  Rollins made a play for the top spot but took second (595) with Florida Southern (612) and Barry (616) placing third and fourth.
