Tied 38-38 at halftime, the Fighting Knights dominated the second stanza for the Sunshine State Conference victory and the season sweep over the Mocs.

Four players in the Blue and White scored in double figures while the point guards combined for nine of the squad’s 18 assists.

    Men’s Basketball Snaps Skid; Escapes Lions’ Den in Overtime Terrell Rogers’ game-tying free throw with five seconds to play in regulation kept Lynn University’s men’s basketball team alive before the Fighting Knights secured a thrilling 75-73 overtime victory on the road at Saint Leo Wednesday night. The Lions heaved up a nice look from long range right at the final buzzer but it fell just short. The Blue and White halt a five-game slide while picking up a key Sunshine State Conference victory.

    Second Half Men’s Basketball Comeback Falls Short Against No. 11 Barry Lynn University’s men’s basketball team was unable to utilize a season-high 58.3 three-point shooting percentage on 14 makes and a career-high 27 points from forward Kevin O’Brien as it fell to No. 11 Barry 80-75 on Wednesday night. Down just one (76-75) with 34 seconds remaining, the Fighting Knights had an opportunity at putting up the go-ahead bucket but a costly turnover iced the game in favor of the Buccaneers.

    Embry-Riddle Soars over Men’s Basketball Lynn University’s men’s basketball team quickly found itself in a hole it couldn’t overcome on Saturday against Embry-Riddle in nonconference action. The Eagles’ offense was rolling on all cylinders right out of the gate and a big halftime advantage led to a 104-80 decision over the Fighting Knights. Junior guard Chances Matlock caught fire from beyond the arc in the second half, finishing with a season-high 17 points.

    Men’s Basketball Comeback Attempt Falls Short in Final Seconds Winter Park, Fla. – The Lynn University men’s basketball team was caught in a back-and-forth, grind-it-out type basketball game on the road versus Rollins Wednesday night, but fell short on a last second shot attempt in a 73-71 setback despite a season-high 27-point scoring output from Terrell Rogers. The Fighting Knights had the ball, down two, but lost the game on a missed shot attempt at the end of regulation.

    Down but Never Out; Men’s Basketball Utilizes Incredible Late Run in Overtime Victory The Lynn University men’s basketball team never held the lead for the entire 40 minutes of regulation on Saturday against the 19th-ranked University of Tampa Spartans and trailed big with under four minutes to play. The Fighting Knights’ shooters caught fire from long range down the stretch, applying a breathtaking 18-2 tear in the final 3:06 of the second half to tie the game before securing a 90-85 win in overtime.

The Lynn University men’s basketball team escaped with a thrilling 70-68 second-half-comeback victory over the Saint Leo Lions in Sunshine State Conference action. Botley scored the final five points of the night and finished with a team-high 21.

Men’s Basketball Stuns No. 9 Drury in Classic Finale Undefeated and ninth-ranked Drury University was hot coming into the finale of the Lynn University Boca Raton Holiday Classic on Saturday night, winning its first nine contests of the season and putting up nearly 85 points per game. The Fighting Knights’ men’s basketball squad didn’t back down however, securing a resilient 57-56 victory over the visiting Panthers. Lynn has now won four straight games and picked up its first victory over a top-10 team in over six years.
