Men’s Lacrosse Re-Enters USILA National Rankings

Perry, N.Y. – Lynn University's men's lacrosse team picked up two victories this past week, including one of the biggest wins in program history. The Fighting Knights re-enter the USILA/Warrior and New Balance Coaches Poll at No. 18, as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association on Monday.

The Blue and White are currently 10-3 on the season and sit atop the Sunshine State Conference standings with a 5-1 league mark. The squad is in the midst of a program-record seven-game winning streak.

Last week, Lynn first dispatched Palm Beach Atlantic on the road, 15-7, before heading to Tampa and knocking off the 16th-ranked Spartans right before the buzzer, 11-10. The win marks the first over Tampa in program history.

The Fighting Knights are currently the only team from the SSC featured in the national rankings. Limestone, the last remaining undefeated team in the country, takes over the No. 1 position.

This is Week 10 of the USILA Coaches Poll. The Blue and White were last ranked this season in Week 2 (No. 18) and Week 3 (No. 15).

This week's rankings from Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse have not been released yet, but last week, Lynn was tabbed No. 18 and No. 20 by the organizations, respectively.
