Neale Signs with Men’s Tennis

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Shortly after the program's eighth trip to the NCAA National Championships, head coach Mike Perez and the Lynn University men's tennis team have already started preparing for the future with the announcement of incoming freshman Ryan Neale signing a National Letter of Intent.

"Ryan has the desire and ability to increase his level here at Lynn," stated Perez. "We are thrilled he decided to attend Lynn University and we know Ryan will be a great teammate. He certainly has the qualities of spirt, service and strength that we all hope to fulfill."

Neale is an inbound collegiate freshman hailing from Parker, Colo., coming off a stellar senior campaign where he was named the Most Valuable Player at Ponderosa High School as well as the Denver South Metro Player of the Year. He went undefeated during conference matches at No. 1 singles and ended the year with a 15-2 record following postseason competition.

He is currently the No. 8 ranked player in Colorado and No. 16 in the Intermountain Section. Nationally, Neale is ranked No. 368 in singles and No. 237 for doubles.

The Fighting Knights posted a 17-7 record in 2018 and seized their 16th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Seven letter winners are expected to return to next years' squad, including four members from this season's starting lineup.
