BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s men’s soccer team returned home to a throng of supporters in the very early hours of Sunday morning.  The Fighting Knights national championship squad will have a chance to further bask in the glory when the University puts forth an official celebration of the program’s fourth and school’s 20th national championship.  The festivities will begin on Tuesday, December 4, at 12:30 p.m. and will be held in the cafeteria of the Lynn Student Center.

Lynn defeated Saginaw Valley State 3-2 in the NCAA Division II National Championship on Saturday, jumping out to a 3-0 lead before holding off the Cardinals for the title.  Anthony Desperito was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player and Jason Sangha the Most Outstanding Defensive Player of the tournament.
