Lynn University’s women’s basketball team saw its two-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday evening, falling to a hot-shooting Nova Southeastern squad 100-57. Christina Potts led the Fighting Knights in scoring, finishing with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor.
BOCA RATON, Fla. – Using a 22-8 run in the final ten minutes, the Lynn University women’s basketball team maintained its unblemished home record on Saturday afternoon, defeating Florida Tech 60-56. Loie Webb and Christina Potts knocked down a combined seven triples to pace the offensive effort, scoring 15 and 14 points, respectively.

The Lynn University women’s basketball team used its stifling defense to down the Lions of Saint Leo University 67-50 in Sunshine State Conference (SSC) play, improving its record to 8-0 at home in 2018-19.
The accolades continue to mount for both Lynn University basketball programs in the 2018-19 campaign as Kelsi Fizer and Rasheed Worrell were named the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Women’s and Men’s Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, as announced on Monday.
